Our Story Discover

Riverside Sales and Marketing was formed as a sales and marketing company and has more than 40 years of retail and club experience in the food industry throughout New England and the East Coast. We were established to give our manufacturing and vendor partners the best in representation and merchandising throughout All of New England and the East Coast. We value our relationships we have formed with both our vendor partners as well as the valued retailers and wholesalers we work with. We have established and continue to build a full team of great merchandisers in the field. They will continue to make sure that all our products are well represented and in stock within our retailers that we work with. Our goal is and will continue to be the “BEST” and not the biggest.

Steven Picardi

President

Steve started Riverside Sales in 2002. He brings over 40 years of food industry experience around the United States and in New England. Besides handling and looking after the everyday company business, Steve oversees all business at BJ’s Wholesale Clubs, Demoulas Market Basket, Giant Eagle, Fresh Markets, Hannaford Bros./Food Lion, and Ahold USA.

Michael Picardi

Key Account Executive

Michael is the account executive for Market Basket, BJ’s Wholesale, Giant Eagle, Fresh Markets, Roche Brothers, Ahold (Stop and Shop and Giant) and Delhaize (Hannaford Brothers and Food Lion).

Mark Shepherd

Key Account Executive

Mark is the account executive for major accounts such as Shaw’s Supermarkets, Star Markets, Big Y Supermarkets, Wegmans, Price Chopper, Daves, A.G., Bozzuto’s and C&S. 

Owey Pereira

Office Manager

Owey is responsible for all the receiving and inputing of orders as well as clerical and receptionist responsibilities.

Susan Picardi

Payroll Administrator

Susan is responsible for the upkeep and management of Riversides payroll.

Merchandising and Demo Team

We have formed a team of demonstrators and in-store merchandising specialists who work weekly to perform store checks and in-store demos at many of our valued retailers.

    • Matthew is responsible for store merchandising, upkeep and inspection for over 300 retail customers and BJ’s Clubs throughout the New England marketplace.
